This is the most comprehensive site for Gas Refrigerators and Gas Freezers. We are users of the products we sell and offer technical advice and repairs on site or via telephone. We just don’t sell Propane Refrigerators, we live with them. You may find other sites that offer the same or similar product lines but none can compare to our 30 years of experience in this field. You will find more information within this site than all others combined, so read on and let us know if you have any questions.
The top brand in the industry of Gas Refrigeration is the EZ Freeze brand. The quality and performance of the finished product has proven itself to be the best of all the large capacity Gas Fridges on the market today. EZ Freeze builds the entire cooling unit, the heart of the machine, in house at their facility. They do not farm it out like the competition. This ensures the highest quality control possible. Each unit is tested in the hot room of at least 100 degrees F for over 12 hours in duration. The test results are recorded on every unit. No other company does this.
Other features of the EZ Freeze line incorporates an all important burner assembly that uses 100% stainless steel construction and includes a Ruby Tipped Orifice. EZ Freeze has sought out the highest grade materials for both long lasting durability and consistent high performance. Read more about EZ Freeze Gas Refrigerator features
Here at Warehouse Appliance we realize that all of the Propane Fridges that we sell go to remote locations such as hunting camps, vacation cabins, cottages, and off grid houses, so we went to the trouble of producing a Service and Maintenance DVD that we give free to all of our EZ Freeze customers. When you are in the outback and you have a question about your fridge, this DVD gift can possibly save your vacation with it’s very detailed look at service, maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting. Absorption Refrigeration has been around since the early 1900’s being very popular in the 40’s and 50’s with the Servel brand. Some are still in use today. Refrigerators used in Recreational Vehicles, RV’s, use the same ammonia absorption technology. This allows the RV to travel to locations and utilize different types of power sources. Many hotel room mini fridges include an absorption system that is electric powered. The attraction is the silent operation. Although this type of refrigeration is not as popular as a compressor type electric refrigerator, it has been used successfully throughout recent history for many types of uses.
