Solar Chill Evaporator Coolers
110 Degree air is cooled to 75 F by evaporating water. 8,000 BTU's of cooling is produced for each gallon of water evaporated. Evaporation rates in the Solar Chill can range from 1 - 7 gallons per hr. Highly efficient DC motors let you power the unit by Solar, Wind or regular house-hold energy sources. The extremely low wattage allows the Solar Chill to operate well on just one or two PV panels during daylight hours. No batteries required. The coolers are available in 5 sizes - 800 to 5000 CFM, and 12 or 24 volt DC. 48 Volt by special order. Duct the unit through the window or ceiling/roof. 2412HP and 2-2012HP are the best choice if using duct work. |
